Augmentus said its software doesn't require users know how to code.
Augmenuts has developed software to make it easier to program robot arms. It will showcase that system next month at Hannover Messe in Germany from April 17 to April 21.

Augmentus will showcase its services next month at Hannover Messe in Germany from April 17 to April 21. The Singapore-based company will highlight its AI-powered robotic system used for sandblasting, thermal spraying, shot peening, sanding, polishing, and welding applications at the show at Hall 11 Stand A45.

The company said it is attending the show to help expand its presence in the European market and better demonstrate its simplified robot programing solutions. Augmentus claimed to serve a diverse customer base across various industries, such as aerospace, automotive, maritime, and supply chain.

Its systems are used by companies such as ST Engineering, Hyundai, Abrasive Engineering, Johnson & Johnson, and Fujitsu.

Augmentus aims to make automation simpler

The company was established in 2019 and claims to be a pioneer in intelligent 3D scanning and robot motion planning systems. It noted it develops systems to help its customers automate their work environments with easy-to-use software that eliminates the need for coding and CAD files.

Its solutions are compatible with over ten major robot manufacturers, including ABB, Universal Robots, Kuka, and Nachi, it added. The company explained that it is expanding its compatibility with added robot brands and peripheral hardware.

Augmentus said its proprietary technology has helped companies lower engineering costs by up to 73%.

In a blog post on Augmentus’ website, the company highlighted that it grew its customer base by four times across seven countries. It also revealed that the most popular applications for its systems include welding, blasting and spraying, and sanding.

In addition to bolstering its presence in Europe, the company is also hoping to make a bigger splash in the U.S., it noted in the blog post.

“Our co-founders Daryl Lim and Voon Foo also headed to the US and represented Augmentus at the Rockwell Automation Fair in Chicago kickstarting our efforts and engagements with manufacturers and integrators across the region,” it said.
