Dexory, formerly known as BotsAndUs, has partnered with DENSO Manufacturing UK to automate its plant in Telford, U.K. Dexory’s autonomous robot, Min, is being used to navigate aisles to identify empty locations and locate component pallets in the facility. DENSO has been using the robot as part of a proof of value trial and is now considering deploying the technology long-term.
DENO Manufacturing UK makes HVAC units, radiators, and engine cooling modules for automotive manufacturers in Europe and internationally. London-based Dexory said its technology provides customers with 24/7 visibility of its stock and storage operations to ensure that production is never interrupted.
The company said its robots measure, track, and find goods across warehouses without workflow disruption. The data they collect is fed real-time into digital twins, allowing logistics and warehouses to quickly respond to operational challenges they face on a daily basis, it said.

A step toward building digital twins at facilities
Stock-taking is unanimously perceived as a manual and time-consuming process that many warehouse operations avoid. Mim, Dexory’s fully autonomous robot, navigates aisles to check each and every rack location - avoiding obstacles and complying with established warehouse procedures, the company said. The robot scans racks to identify empty locations and locate pallets of components in real-time, quicker and more accurately than when completed manually, it added.
By comparing the data collected in the real warehouse environment with existing WMS (warehouse management system) stock records, Dexory reconciles inconsistencies and closes the data loop. The end goal of its technology is to build a warehouse digital twin that offers real-time intelligence to inform and ensure zero-error procurement, with no disruptions to the production line and the wider supply chain, it said. The company noted that robot had a 99% accuracy level at the facility.
