HAIPICK A42T to Be Showcased at HAI Robotics’ Booth at IMHX 2022

The company will also highlight its local U.K. team as it hopes to expand its European presence.

HAI ROBOTICS, which was founded in 2016, said its HAIPICK A42T can reach high and low.
The company's ACR system picking height can reach over 32 ft. and be used to carry 8 loads at once.

HAI ROBOTICS will display its HAIPICK A42T systems in the U.K. for the first time at IMHX 2022 from Sep. 6 to 8. During the exhibition, the company will also present its local U.K. team.

Shenzhen, China-based HAI ROBOTICS said it is committed to gathering global talent to develop robotics to advance society. The company said it designed its autonomous case-handling robots (ACR) and goods-to-person systems for tote and carton transportation and process optimization.

HAIPICK A42T to make U.K. debut

HAI ROBOTICS plans to present its state-of-the-art ACR systems at one of the biggest logistics solutions shows for professionals who manage, operate, and optimize supply chains across the U.K.

The live demo at booth 5C70 will be led by HAIPICK A42T, one of the tallest robots in HAI ROBOTICS' ACR systems, with a standard picking height of 8m (26 ft.), which can be increased to over 10 m (32 ft.), depending on the application. Featuring a telescopic mast, the robot can also descend to as low as 0.28 m (0.91 ft.) to pick totes and cartons stored on the bottom level of the shelf.

It can carry eight loads simultaneously and feed workstations. The robot was named the “Best in Intralogistics” in IFOY 2021.

HAIPICK offers local support

Since the establishment of its regional headquarters in the Netherlands in late 2021, HAI ROBOTICS has expanded its presence quickly into several European countries, such as France, Germany, Spain, Italy, the Benelux, and the U.K.

The company has quickly set up local team members, most of whom are experienced in the logistics automation industry.

“Our aim at HAI Robotics U.K. Ltd. is to establish ourselves in the local market for the long term,” said Damien Skinner, country manager for the U.K. and Ireland. “Working with a select number of partners, we are able to offer solutions that can grow with our customer's needs and be supported throughout.”

“As well as our portfolio of ACR technology, we are able to offer scalable, flexible solutions, intelligent control systems, post-implementation support, and even flexible financing models,” he said.

Warehouses seek the right fit

Warehouse automation solutions are in high demand, and it's not hard to see why, said HAI ROBOTICS. Squeezed by the ongoing e-commerce boom and a global labor shortage crisis, companies need these technologies to boost fulfillment speed and accuracy at a time when adding people is no longer an option.

Compared with existing, especially traditional, warehouse automation solutions, HAI ROBOTICS claimed that its ACR systems can deliver benefits for U.K. customers. The company added that its ACR systems offer flexibility for expansion.

They can “exponentially” increase operational efficiency while requiring less time to implement and being more cost-effective than traditional automation systems, said HAI ROBOTICS.

The company's target industries mainly include third-party logistics (3PL), retail, e-commerce, fashion, and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). The HAIPICK A42T is intended to handle products in these markets.
