Magni Telescopic Handlers Srl today announced that its has partnered with euroTECH Vertriebs GmbH to use the eT-Litocran700 as an add-on module for the precision vacuum lifters used in its products. The companies plan to jointly exhibit at the triennial Bauma trade fair for construction machinery from Oct. 24 to 30, 2022, in Munich, Germany.

At the end of June, Thomas Schulz, managing director of euroTECH, traveled to Castelfranco Emilia in Italy to seal the deal with Magni Telescopic Handlers (MTH). He and Carlo Magni, managing director of MTH, said they have a similar philosophy about understanding and addressing customer needs.

Rosenfeld, Germany-based euroTECH offers handling and transport systems in the field of vacuum technology. The company develops and produces customer-specific vacuum systems and components for automated handling tasks. euroTECH said customers can adjust its modular construction system to meet their requirements and install spare parts in a quick and cost-saving manner.

Magni Telescopic Handlers builds on decades of experience

The Magni family said it has 50 years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on telescopic handlers. As early as 1980, its company—then trading under the name FARGH—designed and constructed reach forklifts with a patented boom.

After a joint venture with a global industry leader, the Magni family decided to forge its own path in developing innovative heavy-duty telehandlers in 2013. Drawing from its own strengths and experiences, they founded Magni Telescopic Handlers, initially with a team of 10.

Today, MAGNI TH employs 450 staffers around the world and produces more than 3,000 units every year. “An efficient decision-making process and a keen understanding of its customers’ needs have made this steep and successful growth curve possible,” claimed the company.

euroTECH fills a gap

euroTECH said its Litocran fills a specific gap between telehandlers and vacuum lifters. “Unlike other devices currently available on the market, the Litocran is equipped with a highly sensitive 3D control system offering maximal mobility across the last few centimeters,” it said.

The control system enables users to carry out all movements with millimeter precision, said euroTECH. This enables facade engineers, for instance, to install even hard-to-place elements rapidly with minimal staff, it added.

The system eliminates the need for elaborate preparations, according to euroTECH. Litocran users do not need to set up scaffolding to install, repair, or replace window and facade elements, it said. Instead, they are simply loaded onto the Litocran on the ground, which can be done even on construction sites with less-than-ideal surface conditions for the transport rack.

For example, the Litocran can reach across an A rack and maneuver individual elements to their precise installation sites at a height of up to 50 m (164 ft.), depending on the lifting height of the MAGNI telehandler.

As building costs surge and labor is scarce, Litocran can provide a competitive advantage in the window and facade sector, said the partners. They noted that the combination of a MAGNI telehandler and the et-Litocran700 can be sourced cost-efficiently from an equipment-for-hire provider.

Partners to exhibit

MAGNI TH and euroTECH said their collaboration “will offer unprecedented levels of precision and mobility to customers seeking to move loads with telehandlers.”

The “red gazelle,” as the Litocran has been dubbed for its speed and precision, provides clear value to customers, said MAGNI TH. Its seamless integration in the form of controls, hydraulics, and energy supply made it an obvious choice, said Carlo Magni.

Visitors to Bauma 2022 will be able to see the combination of MAGNI telehandlers and the eT-Litocran700 at the MAGNI TH booth at Freigelände Süd 1108/3. The partners added that they will offer insights into future installation possibilities in the window and facade sector.
