Intralogistics automation provider Cimcorp recently announced it will showcase its automated storage and order picking systems at MODEX 2024 in booth B6019.
The company said MODEX attendees will have the opportunity to explore Cimcorp’s technology through interactive demonstrations and discuss operational challenges with its representatives.
“Automation is the future of fresh food distribution, and our unique solutions makes it easier than ever to get started with automation in a way that is quick, cost-effective, scalable, and sustainable,” said Adam Gurga, national manager of grocery and retail partnerships for Cimcorp.
The MODEX 2024 trade show will be held March 11-14 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA.
Modular systems support supply-chain sustainability
Cimcorp, which provides fresh food and tire handling robots, said it will showcase systems designed to optimize fresh and perishable food distribution for grocery retailers, bakeries, and dairies. The company said its systems modernize order fulfillment, support supply chain sustainability, and minimize lead times to maximize freshness for perishable foods.
Offering modular systems that can be retrofitted into existing distribution centers, Cimcorp said it allows grocery retailers to introduce automation modules based on present needs, with the ability to scale as business grows. The company’s end-to-end automation systems combine gantry robots, intelligent software, automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), automated guided vehicles AGVs, conveyors, shuttles, and palletizers.
Cimcorp offers end users continuous maintenance services, including spare parts, training, and 24/7 support, to help its customers secure a lifecycle of 20 years or more for their automation technology.
