RC Mowers last week said it has opened a new office and factory near Green Bay, Wis., to meet industry demand for its autonomous and remotely operated lawn mowers.
“This new facility is a result of the unprecedented success RC Mowers has experienced since our inception,” stated Michael Brandt, CEO of RC Mowers. “We have doubled our revenue every year since we opened in 2018, and with the rollout of our new Autonomous Mowing Robot (AMR), we expect to continue this exceptional growth.”
Brandt said that along with the need for more factory space, the company has been expanding its workforce to meet production demands. The additional workspace will also allow RC Mowers to hire more office workers and engineers.
New facility triples space
The 36,300-sq.-ft. building is located on a seven-acre site adjacent to RC Mowers' current location. It features 9,300 sq. ft. for office operations and another 27,000 sq. ft. of production space.
The $4.8 million facility provides the robotic mower manufacturer with three times the space it had at its old location.
“This new facility will enable us to meet our growth objectives and the demands of the commercial mowing industry,” Brandt said.
“We're excited to continue providing the quality, American-made robotic mowers our customers have come to rely on and look forward to expanding our operations,” he added.
The global market for robotic lawn mowers could experience a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15.73% between 2023 and 2027, expanding by $1,069.21 billion, according to Research and Markets.
About RC Mowers
Founded in 2018 as Embankscape Equipment LLC, RC Mowers said its robotic mowers can improve opportunities for profitability and growth for landscaping contractors, public works departments, and roads departments, as well as city, county, state, and federal parks systems.
RC Mowers manufactures remote-operated mowers to safely mow steep slopes and difficult terrain. The company said its autonomous mowers allow landscaping contractors to reduce their labor by up to two-thirds and generate profit from services traditionally seen as loss leaders.
All of RC Mowers' robotic mowers are designed and manufactured in the U.S., have a 30-day buy-back guarantee, and come with a 72-hour parts-shipping guarantee.
Earlier this month, the company noted that its robotic mowers will be on display at speedways in Florida and Alabama.
