Hesai to Scale Hybrid Lidar Production With Series D

​Shanghai-based Hesai Photonics Technology Co. raised more than $300 million in Series D funding in June 2021. The company is continuing R&D for its optoelectric chips and plans to scale up production of sensors that could be used in mobile robots, autonomous vehicles, and other applications.
