Dobot Robotics last week opened its U.S. office in Dallas, following its global expansion strategy. The Shenzhen, China-based company also launched its CRA series of collaborative robots and the associated VX500 Smart Camera in the U.S. market. Dobot said its new CRA Series of cobots incorporate high performance harmonic drive reducers and electromagnetic brakes to offer customers greater performance and safety benefits. The company launched the new series at Automate this year alongside the CRV500 Smart Camera. Dobot Reveals New High-Payload Cobot at Hannover Messe

Dobot is showing off its new high payload collaborative robot at Hannover Messe in Germany this week. The new CR20A cobot has a 20 kg, or 44 lb., payload capacity, a 1,700 mm, or 66 in., wide working radius, and ±0.1 mm repeatability.
