Cleveron Releases the Cleveron 354, a Robotic Outdoor Parcel Locker

Cleveron said its system allows companies to expand the independent last-mile delivery network and optimize operations for efficient parcel management. 

Cleveron AS, an Estonian technology company specializing in parcel robots and lockers development, yesterday unveiled the Cleveron 354, a battery-powered outdoor parcel locker., Cleveron's aim is to the disrupts the last-mile market with a grid-independent parcel solution with a mission to reduce 70% in CO2 emissions across the entire last-mile sector.

Cleveron claimed its solutions help companies effectively reduce last-mile delivery costs, streamline parcel operations, and elevate the omnichannel customer experience. Over the past 15 years, Cleveron has equipped the world's largest retailers, grocers, and logistics companies with state-of-the-art parcel automation technology. Currently, Cleveron machines are deployed in 51 countries, serving a global customer base that includes industry leaders such as Inditex/Zara, H&M, IKEA, XXL, Falabella, and DHL.

Designed for the last-mile 

Arti Kütt, CEO of Cleveron, said he is confident of the increasing demand for parcel lockers as a sustainable and cost-effective solution for last-mile deliveries.

“Our projections show that within a decade, 80% of last-mile deliveries in Europe will be conducted via parcel lockers, which will emerge as the preferred method among end customers, Kütt said in a statement. “This approach is not only more cost-effective but also significantly more sustainable. Battery-powered parcel lockers will play a pivotal role in driving this revolution, as these can be installed basically on every street corner. Cleveron 354 is designed to directly address this challenge, offering an intelligent solution for a more sustainable world.”

Online all day

The company said the standout feature of Cleveron 354 is its 24/7 online capabilities. Additionally, Cleveron 354 has a smaller CO2 lifetime footprint, approximately twenty times smaller than traditional grid-powered lockers, the company claimed.

Thanks to efficient energy management, Cleveron 354 offers the same capabilities as grid-dependent lockers, ensuring an excellent user experience, according to the company.

Cleveron's battery-powered locker is designed with user-friendliness in mind, allowing customers to retrieve their parcels by entering a code on the PIN pad, eliminating the need for a dedicated mobile application, it added. The locker operator receives real-time updates about their parcel lockers, ensuring continuous monitoring. Cleveron 354 allows companies to expand the independent last-mile delivery network and optimise operations for efficient parcel management.
