Registration is now open for PACK EXPO Southeast, which will launch March 10-12, 2025, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Organized by PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, this event marks a new addition to the PACK EXPO portfolio, tailored for the Southeast's thriving manufacturing sector.
Expected to draw 7,000 attendees, PACK EXPO Southeast will showcase innovations from 400 exhibitors across 100,000 square feet, offering solutions for over 40 industry sectors. Attendees will see the latest in packaging technology, network with industry peers, and explore solutions designed to tackle evolving business and consumer demands. "The industry’s growth shows how important it is for manufacturers to find innovative, tailored solutions,” said Jim Pittas, PMMI’s president and CEO.
The event follows the recent PACK EXPO International and reflects ongoing momentum in packaging machinery growth. PMMI’s new report projects that this year, the industry will reach $11.1 billion in the U.S. With a focus on automation and sustainability, industry growth is expected to peak in 2027.
PACK EXPO Southeast also features the Reusable Packaging Pavilion, sponsored by the Reusable Packaging Association (RPA), where attendees can explore sustainable packaging options that cut costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
Educational sessions on topics like sustainability, robotics, and food safety will be held throughout the event. Exhibitors on the Innovation Stage will present 30-minute seminars, while industry experts will cover emerging trends, from remote access to augmented reality, through the "Industry Speaks" series.
Networking opportunities include receptions for young professionals and women in the industry, while dedicated events aim to engage students considering careers in packaging and processing. "PACK EXPO Southeast is the only show in the region offering attendees access to crossover innovations from other industries," said Laura Thompson, vice president of trade shows at PMMI.
