Techman Robot Introduces New High-Payload Cobot at Automate 2023

Techman Robot

Techman Robot is showcasing for the first time the TM AI Cobot TM25S at Automate this week. The robot has a payload capacity of 25 kg, or 55 lb., and has a reach of over 190 cm, or 74 in.. It is the newest member of the company's TM AI Cobot S Series.

Founded in 2015, Techman Robot designs and manufactures collaborative robots and smart vision technologies. The subsidiary of Quant Storage Inc. attributed its rapid growth and technology leadership to research and development support, solid financial backing, and the global resources of Quanta Group.

Techman combines vision with AI

The Taiwan-based company said one of the standout features of the TM AI Cobot S Series is its built-in vision system and AI technology. The combination enables the cobots to complete a range of applications with great precision and efficiency.

Robots in the series can be used to complete a range of tasks, including machine tool material push stack operations and assembly tasks in automotive lines, the company noted.

Techman said it prioritized safety with the new cobot, noting it has received 31 PL=d and Category 3 Safety Function certification from Technischer Überwachungsverein.

It has also passed international safety certifications, including ISO 13849-1 and ISO 10218-1, along with regional safety certifications such as UL and CSA for North America, and CE for Europe.

The company highlighted that the control box on the cobot is IP54 rated, giving it protection against dust and water.

Techman introducing new software to make program easier

Techman is also introducing the TMflow 2 Series, which it describes as a comprehensive software solution designed to make robotic programming and operation safer, easier and smarter.

The company is at Booth 826.
