Suckrow holds an MBA in Business Economics from The University of Göttingen and earned his Doctor of Business Administration and Management (Ph.D.) from Bundeswehr University Munich.
Ampure German Holding GmbH, a provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging technology, recently named Carsten Suckrow as its managing director and head of sales in Europe.
Suckrow will oversee and provide expertise to Ampure’s business of stationary and portable charging for electric vehicle applications. He will report directly to John Thomas, chief revenue and marketing officer at Ampure in the United States.
“I am very excited to join the leading provider of innovative electric vehicle charging solutions, navigating diverse market dynamics and spearheading Ampure’s European growth,” said Suckrow.
Suckrow brings more than 20 years of senior level management experience overseeing high performance teams with proven success in revenue generation, customer engagement, and channel partnerships across several verticals, including OEMs, vehicle fleets, CPOs, distributors, retailers, and energy organizations.
“We are pleased to have Carsten Suckrow join Ampure as the managing director and head of European sales with his strong knowledge of e-mobility and more than eight years of relevant experience in the electric vehicle charging and electrification spaces,” Thomas said. “Carsten’s mission will be to set the tone and strategy for our efforts throughout Europe by crafting a path for growth through collaboration with our channel partners in the automotive and OEM business and add value with resellers in the energy sector, charge point operators, fleet charging service providers, and utilities and distributors.”
Suckrow holds an MBA in Business Economics from The University of Göttingen and earned his Doctor of Business Administration and Management (Ph.D.) from Bundeswehr University Munich. He lives in the greater Munich area with his wife and two sons.
