Changing the DexoryView UI, the new Integrity module features include floor location assessment, rental pallet tracking, and picking stock replenishment assessment.

Robotics and data intelligence and inventory visibility systems provider Dexory recently announced updates to the user interface (UI) of its flagship product, DexoryView.

DexoryView will now consist of modules that can provide more comprehensive data and enhanced ways of tracking warehouse health and hygiene. The first module will be known as DexoryView Integrity.

"By driving innovation, we enable warehouses to operate with greater precision and efficiency," said Andrei Danescu, Dexory CEO and co-founder. "This next level of functionality empowers businesses to make smarter, data-driven decisions while reducing disruptions and enhancing operational performance. With the new capability from DexoryView, we are committed to addressing the most pressing challenges our customers encounter. There will be more announcements in the near future about other additional functionality.”

DexoryView is an AI-powered digital twin software platform that interprets data collected by the company’s telescoping autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) through cameras and sensors. Offered through a robotics-as-a-service (RaaS) subscription model, DexoryView can help warehouse and logistics service providers perform both facility and inventory management.

Floor location assessment, pallet tracking features

Stock integrity represents the foundation of a well-functioning warehouse, ensuring that inventory is in the right place, in the right quantities, and in the right quality and storage conditions. Dexory said it is estimated that warehouse operators lose up to 30% of their productivity and experience 15% increases in costs caused by sub-optimal slotting.

Detecting misplaced items, along with verifying quantities and conditions, and ensuring availability through an accurate and up-to-date system of record can help warehouse operators address critical issues that impact efficiency and profitability.

The new Integrity module is changing DexoryView’s user experience, bringing together existing and new functionality. It can provide even deeper analysis on the health of the warehouse through lidar, AI-powered image analysis, and object identification. These features can help deliver accuracy and insight into warehouse stock, covering different storage methods including both pickface and floor arrangements, including block and bulk storage.

New features included within the DexoryView Integrity module include:

  • Basic inventory checks: Through the use of its AMRs, DexoryView Integrity can help businesses automate their cycle counting and establish a single source of information.
  • Bulk and block stack volume assessment: Provides accurate item counts of non-palletized units in block stack floor locations helping operators promptly address discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Pick volume assessment: Provides count estimates for inventory stored in picking locations, helping operators track remaining cases and detect discrepancies, enabling exception-based pick area management and providing clear visibility on stock replenishment needs.
  • Pallet analysis: Identifies and tracks rental pallets, reducing costs associated with lost or misplaced assets.
  • Empty location checks: Allows businesses to determine which locations currently have no inventory, reducing the need for manual checks.

Dexory said these capabilities can not only safeguard inventory health, but can also enhance workflow precision, empowering businesses to reduce costly inefficiencies and errors.

Integrity module deployments bring results

DexoryView’s Integrity module has allowed Yusen Logistics to save 98 hours per month by introducing daily wall-to-wall counts.

For organizations like vente-unique.com, the DexoryView Integrity has allowed the company to move from 92% to 98% accuracy in the matter of days.

With businesses like logistics company GWC, DexoryView has allowed for a 99% accuracy in tracking and identifying inventory, which has allowed the business to streamline its processes and achieve significant cost savings.

The Integrity module has also enabled Maersk to reduce its warehouse management system (WMS) errors by 15% and save 6 hours per day by quickly locating stock. Maersk recently expanded its deployments with Dexory at a warehouse in Romania as Dexory continues to expand across Europe.
