HANNOVER MESSE 2026: Flexiv showcases ‘the future of adaptive robotics’

Flexiv said that its presence at HANNOVER MESSE 2026 showcases how its Rizon series of adaptive robots can automate tasks by “feeling” their way through them.

Flexiv, a global provider of general-purpose robotics, said that it is set to demonstrate its latest advancements in force-sensitive automation at HANNOVER MESSE 2026.

The company said that its booth will feature six interactive demonstrations that highlight how adaptive robots are bridging the gap between digital intelligence and physical precision.

Flexiv said that booth visitors will be able to see and interact with its Rizon series robots as they perform tasks that have traditionally required a human touch.

The company said that the centerpiece of its booth will be the first European sneak peek of the Mello automated massage platform. Slated for release in Q4 2026, Flexiv said that Mello serves as a high-level technology showcase illustrating how the company’s proprietary force control is sensitive, safe and ready for real-world use.

Able to detect and follow the contours of a body while adjusting contact pressure in real time, Fleiv said that Mello demonstrates how a robot can not only mimic but surpass the techniques of an expert practitioner.

"At Flexiv, we believe the future of industry lies in AI-empowered touch," said Thomas Zandes, European sales director at Flexiv. "Mello serves as the ultimate proof of concept. By perfecting the delicate variable pressure required for a world-class massage, we demonstrate that our Rizon robots can handle nearly any high-precision task. The same core technology that enables a Mello massage also powers complex industrial applications like contour tracking and positional variance compensation."

Beyond the Mello preview, Flexic said that five additional demo stations will showcase the versatility of the Rizon series of adaptive robots, featuring:

  • Precision ball balancing
  • Mobile CNC tool changing
  • Server component insertion
  • Automotive body polishing
  • Automotive seat ironing & quality testing

Flexiv said that each demonstration is designed to illustrate how sensitivity and artificial intelligence can solve traditional real-world automation challenges.

By mastering tasks that previously required a delicate human touch, Flexiv said that it is enabling a new era of fully automated industrial and consumer processes.
