Lattice's stack supports machine vision, human detection, and other high-performance functions.
Lattice Semiconductor Corp. today announced its latest updates to the Lattice Automate and Lattice sensAI solution stacks. The Hillsboro, Ore.-based company said they provide customers with new factory automation and industrial machine vision capabilities.
The stacks, which run on low-power field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), offer efficient, flexible, and secure development of industrial applications without sacrificing power and size, said Lattice.
The company claimed that it is a leader in low-power programmable systems. Lattice said it solves customer problems across the network, from the edge to the cloud, in the growing communications, computing, industrial, automotive, and consumer markets.
In addition, Lattice said its "technology, long-standing relationships, and commitment to world-class support let our customers quickly and easily unleash their innovation to create a smart, secure, and connected world." It has worked with MassRobotics on its Winter Challenge.
Lattice Automate (v3.0) now enables OPC-UA (Open Platform Communications - Unified Architecture) and TSN (Time Sensitive Networking), said Lattice Semiconductor. It also includes:
Lattice sensAI (v 6.0) can accelerate high-perfomance machine vision systems, according to the company. It includes support for:
Lattice Semiconductor will display these latest stack updates and other technology demonstrations at Booth 528, Hall 4 at embedded world 2023 this week in Nürnberg, Germany.
