MODEX 2024: AS/RS manufacturer Kardex to exhibit FulfillX for AutoStore

Kardex will showcase its FulfillX warehouse execution system (WES) for AutoStore, and Intuitive Pick Assistant that projects information onto access ports, at MODEX 2024.

Automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS) manufacturer Kardex AG recently announced it will showcase its FulfillX warehouse execution system (WES) designed specifically for AutoStore at MODEX 2024 in booth B6410.

The trade show will be held March 11-14 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA.

Kardex said AutoStore for processing of small parts orders fits ideally into its existing portfolio of systems.

“As a global AutoStore partner, we have developed a warehouse execution system that can provide remarkable results in just six months and is the fastest order fulfillment system per square foot on the market,” said Mitch Hayes, President of Kardex Solutions Autostore.

Kardex to employ AR for exhibition of automated systems

In addition to software packages and modernization concepts, MODEX attendees will also be able to experience live demonstrations of Kardex’s Intuitive Pick Assistant that projects relevant picking information directly onto the surface of the access opening for both Kardex Remstar and AutoStore ports.

Kardex will showcase additional automated material handling systems at MODEX, including vertical lift modules, vertical carousel modules, vertical buffer modules, and AutoStore systems. The company said its exhibits will feature augmented reality.

Kardex will present two live on-floor seminars and hold a media event during the exhibition:

  • “Maximizing Space & Optimizing Labor: Transforming Your Warehouse with ASRS Automation,” on Tuesday, March 12, 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Theater F.
  • “Transformational Robotics and Software: How AutoStore Empowered by Kardex Helped Cutter & Buck Reinvent Their Omnichannel Business,” on Wednesday, March 13, 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Theater D.
  • A media event presenting FulfillX to members of the press on Tuesday, March 12, 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. in the MODEX Press Conference Room, Building B, Level 2, Room B217.
