Indiana-based enVista has joined the MHI's The Robotics Group.
Indiana-based enVista, a supply chain and enterprise solutions provider, announced that it has been accepted into MHI’s industry group, The Robotics Group (TRG).
MHI is a trade association for the material handling, logistics and supply chain industry. TRG is comprised of leading manufacturers, integrators, consultants and component suppliers of robotic solutions designed specifically for warehousing and distribution applications. The company said enVista was selected to join the group based on its advanced offerings and extensive consulting and integration services.
Industrial robotics are filling the critical need in warehouses across every industry for increased speed, efficiency and precision. For enVista, the company’s robotics integration services span the end-to-end robotic implementation process, from selection to implementation, integration, testing and change management to drive efficiency in the warehousing, distribution and manufacturing environments.
“We are honored to be welcomed into MHI’s Robotics Group,” said Kyle Smith, vice president of automation at enVista. “As part of this esteemed community, my team is committed to advancing robotic solutions to help leading organizations tackle the increasing challenges they face in labor, throughput and operational costs. I look forward to creating synergies with The Robotics Group to further this mission.”
With enVista’s automation and robotics practice, organizations can help optimize processes and efficiencies within the warehouse and distribution center (DC). The enVista team brings a dedicated staff of robotics integration, labor management, warehouse design, distribution center automation and systems engineering and implementation experts to project and model an optimal approach to each unique DC. The company’s automation services include design build, material handling consulting, robotics integration, robotic simulation, proof of concept and warehouse control systems selection and implementation.
“The demand for automation and robotics solutions is skyrocketing, and our acceptance into MHI’s Robotics Group underscores our success in this field,” said Jim Barnes, enVista CEO. “We’re excited about the opportunities ahead and are dedicated to supporting warehouse leaders as they navigate the rise of emerging technologies in the modern facility.”
