CoreTechnologie Debuts New Additive Manufacturing Software

CoreTechnologie debuts new additive manufacturing software. With the new Advanced Lattice module, components can be filled with honeycomb, gyroid, star and many other lattice patterns.

With the new 4D_Additive 3D-Printing software, CAD data is prepared as intelligent, exact B-Rep geometry for 3D printing processes and can be saved in common 3D printing formats as well as STEP. With the new Advanced Lattice module, components can be filled with honeycomb, gyroid, star and many other lattice patterns. For the creation of lightweight components, external lattice structures can be created at the push of a button.

Optimal heat distribution

To achieve the best possible heat distribution, Parts can be analyzed for massive zones, hollowed out with a Hollow function and filled with gyroid, honeycomb, star-shaped or grid structures. With the new Advanced Lattice module, "external" gyroid or G-skeletal structures can now also be created.

CAD data from all common systems are read into 4D_Additive with 3D master information and processed as exact B-Rep geometry. Repair functions and so-called "healing functions" correct existing gaps, overlaps and mini elements and ensure optimum quality and shape accuracy of the print jobs.

New designs

The improved texture module uses predefined texture structures as well as self-created patterns and thus enables completely new designs. The real-time photo-realistic representation directly on the parts makes the work easier when designing new parts.
