The new Build My Truck feature from Crown Equipment allows customers to design lift trucks to meet their application needs.
Material handling company Crown Equipment introduced a Build My Truck feature on the company’s website.
When used in conjunction with Crown’s Forklift Product Selector, the company said this self-service tool helps customers create lift truck configurations that meet their requirements and specific application needs.
Crown said the Build My Truck feature advances the company’s vision to provide personalized and accessible tools that streamline the customer journey.
Using selection categories in the Forklift Product selector, such as capacity and lift height, customers can use the Build My Truck feature to select a lift truck based on their specific application and then configure the product with individual options or pre-selected option packages that meet their application’s requirements.
“The Build My Truck feature can help simplify the lift truck purchasing process, meeting customers where they are and providing the information they want when and where they need it,” said Michelle Chapman, vice president of marketing, Crown Equipment. “This self-service feature enables users to explore Crown lift truck options at their convenience and allows us to quickly confirm customer requirements.”
When using the Build My Truck feature, customers are asked to create an account, which enables them to create, store and retrieve lift truck configurations. Each configuration can be submitted separately for a quote request. Crown said that live chat is available with the Build My Truck feature to provide additional configuration support as needed.
