Global automation and robotics company Scott Technology launched the NexPAL 200HL, a compact, high-capacity palletizer developed to help manufacturers increase production capacity where floor space is limited.
The company said it will showcase the new platform, alongside its integrated portfolio of warehouse technologies, at PACK EXPO 2026 in Chicago.
Scott Technology said NextPAL 200HL was developed in response to customers, particularly across Europe and North America, seeking to add throughput capacity within existing production environments. The company said that it delivers 35+ cases per minute across a broad range of product formats and sizes, while occupying a footprint 25% smaller than most comparable palletizing solutions.
“In many established manufacturing facilities, floorspace is at a premium and throughput is fundamental to the economics of the operation,” said Aaron Vanwalleghem, president of materials handling & logistics at Scott Technology. “If end-of-line palletizing can't keep pace with increased production upstream, it can become a bottleneck on the entire operation, hindering growth.”
Scott Technology said the NexPAL 200HL is now commercially available across its global markets, with its first order already secured. Four systems will be deployed for a major poultry processor in Georgia, announced in June 2026.
Under Scott’s Destination 2030 growth strategy, the company said that it is increasingly directing its R&D investment into a disciplined pipeline of technologies aligned with customer needs, market insights and industry bellwethers.
Scott Technology said that the NexPAL 200HL is an example of that approach in practice. The company said that its compact architecture uses a side-mounted rotating row pusher, allowing case infeed and row formation to occur simultaneously while eliminating traditional overhead pusher components. Scott said that the design maintains easy access for cleaning and maintenance, while automatic changeovers and flexible pattern execution support a broad range of products and pallet configurations. Application-specific options include label orientation, interlayer sheet handling and pallet dispensing.
Scott said that the NexPAL 200HL expands the company’s integrated materials handling & logistics automation portfolio, which spans palletizing, product and pallet conveying, NexBOT automated guided vehicles and the MAESTRO+ control platform, enabling coordinated system execution. Together, the company said that these systems enable coordinated execution, plant-level connectivity, real-time visibility, traceability and decision support.
To mark the launch, Scott said that it has also developed a full-scale augmented reality experience for the NexPAL 200HL, allowing customers and investors to place a digital representation of the palletizer in their physical environment using a smartphone. By scanning a QR code, the company said that users can position the 200HL at full scale, walk around the machine and assess its compact footprint without an app or specialist equipment.
“Our customers are looking for ways to increase capacity with limited impact on their physical footprint,” Vanwalleghem said. “With the NexPAL 200HL, we focused on putting substantial palletizing capacity into a much smaller space without compromising performance.”
