Robotics & AI Discovery Day 2025 will take place on November 5 in Pittsburgh.

The Pittsburgh Robotics Network (PRN) has announced more details about Robotics & AI Discovery Day 2025.

The event will take place on November 5, 2025, at Pittsburgh’s David L. Lawrence Convention Center. Registration is now open.

PRN said more than 10,000 attendees are expected, and over 150 exhibitors will be on display, representing one of the largest and most influential gatherings of robotics and AI professionals in the United States.

Conference highlights how AI powers innovation

PRN said the event highlights the integration of artificial intelligence with physical systems that power real-world innovation. From industrial automation to autonomous vehicles to interactive robotics, Robotics & AI Discovery Day will showcase how robotics & artificial intelligence are accelerating progress in every sector. PRN said that attendees will see firsthand how the combination of robotics and AI is reshaping industries and redefining the future.

“Robotics & AI Discovery Day demonstrates how physical AI solutions are now driving real business impact, powering transformative innovation, accelerating progress and redefining what’s possible across multiple industries,” said Jennifer Apicella, executive director of the Pittsburgh Robotics Network. “This event will bring together the people and ideas defining this new era. Our goal is simple: to create a must-attend gathering where innovators, investors and industry decision-makers come together to exchange ideas, uncover emerging opportunities, and shape the future together.”

The one-day event features five dedicated “Discovery Zones” for attendees to explore with a comprehensive view of the robotics ecosystem.

  • The Robotics Zone will feature advanced robotics, autonomous vehicles and other physical AI systems.
  • In the Advanced Manufacturing Zone, visitors can see how automation is reshaping production processes and modern manufacturing.
  • The Career Pathways Zone will connect students, educators and professionals with training programs and workforce opportunities.
  • The Community Zone will highlight how nonprofits, business organizations, and STEM initiatives are building a collaborative ecosystem.
  • The newly added AI Zone will showcase artificial intelligence, advanced software and other technologies transforming the future of business.

Pittsburgh as a robotics hub

PRN said that Pittsburgh has earned its reputation as the nation’s robotics capital by combining world-class research institutions, a thriving startup ecosystem and global industry leaders.

Robotics & AI Discovery Day builds on this foundation by convening investors, entrepreneurs, engineers, manufacturers, business executives and innovation leaders from across the country.

“Pittsburgh has long been the birthplace and proving ground for robotics, AI, and autonomy, and Aurora is proud to help carry that legacy forward,” said Drew Bagnell, co-founder and chief scientist at Aurora. “Robotics & AI Discovery Day shines a spotlight on how innovations rooted here are now reshaping industries and redefining what’s possible.”
