ProMat 2025: Toshiba showcases new industrial labeling systems

Toshiba America Business Solutions

Toshiba’s BX410T printer features the company's A-BRID platform with a dual-core processor, cloud connectivity, and automatic printer language recognition.

Information printing and display systems provider Toshiba America Business Solutions recently demonstrated its intuitive, high-performance, and easy-to-use thermal printers at ProMat 2025. The trade show was held March 17-20 in Chicago, Ill.

The company's new BX410T series presents manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain professionals with an efficient, secure, and flexible labeling hub.

Toshiba said its industrial printers couple field-proven hardware with a dual-core processor running both real-time and Linux operating systems to power the company's A-BRID ecosystem. Toshiba's A-BRID platform merges its multifunction printer technology with label printers, enabling a blend of IT applications and best practices.

"By adopting Toshiba’s A-BRID operating system, activating leading cloud functionality and customization as well as 3-in-1 eco-centric labeling capabilities, our latest systems tackle the day-to-day applications professionals handle,” said Bill Melo, Toshiba America Business Solutions VP of marketing and strategic business development.

A-BRID operating system

Toshiba said its A-BRID-powered printers can deliver:

  • Traceability: Organizations may track packages precisely and confidently.
  • Flexibility: Cloud connectivity and customizability help businesses tailor their printing.
    • The BX410T series printer cloning functionality simplifies device deployment at scale
    • The printers' security elements and network functions provide further organizational flexibility and peace of mind.
  • Anytime, anyplace control: Companies may securely operate and manage fleets of printers at any time and from any location.
    • Toshiba's Elevate Sky MFPConnect and SOTI Connect enterprise software enable IoT device management so that manufacturing, logistics, and retail personnel may centrally support their printer fleet, manage counters and logs, and deploy firmware automatically.
  • Smoother workflows: Toshiba's A-BRID-powered printers control all aspects of label production for a smarter and more efficient set-up.
    • This includes printing aligned PDF labels directly from enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications without installing a print driver.
    • The printers' web interface additionally bypasses organizations' need for separate software.
  • Seamless Integration: Toshiba’s BX410T series printers’ connectivity with automatic printer language recognition and easy data conversation can help make industrial labeling a breeze.

HSP200L linerless printer

Toshiba additionally demonstrated its rugged, new, hospitality-grade, 3-in-1 HSP200L printer during ProMat 2025. The system creates linerless (without backing materials) and die-cut labels and receipts for sustainability-focused organizations. The compact, durable, and low-maintenance printer can also help guarantee accurate ordering.

Producing linerless labels, Toshiba's compact and stylish printer optimizes valuable counter space while limiting waste to enable organizations to operate more efficiently and sustainably. The 3-in-1 printer is ENERGY STAR certified.
