Not only do the top U.S. racetracks showcase automotive technologies; they also offer opportunities to see the latest in robotics. Spectators at the Daytona International Speedway could see RC Mowers' remotely operated mowers and its new Autonomous Mowing Robot on the Midway at Daytona Speedweeks.

The events included the "Beef. It's What's For Dinner." 300 on Feb 18 and the Daytona 500 on Feb. 19. Ground crews at the Homestead-Miami Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway also use RC Mowers' systems to maintain the areas around their racetracks.

"Our mowers have helped these racetracks address major challenges, which include solving labor, safety, and efficiency issues," stated Tim Kubista, vice president of sales and marketing at RC Mowers. "These speedways have allowed us to showcase our mowers at select events."

The company claimed that its robotic mowers can improve safety, productivity, and profitability by allowing one operator to do the work of three.

Founded in 2018, Embankscape Equipment LLC, which does business as RC Mowers, is moving to new $4.8 million headquarters in Suamico, Wis., near Green Bay. The company manufacturers remote-controlled and autonomous robotic mowers for landscaping contractors, public works departments, city, county, state and federal parks systems and roads departments, and more.

Daytona International Speedway uses RC Mowers' TK-52XP to mow its outer banks, and Homestead-Miami Speedway uses the TK-44E. Talladega Superspeedway has maintained its banks with a TK-60XP since 2021, the company noted.

RC Mowers displayed its commercial lawnmowers in Daytona alongside other major brands including Toyota, Door Dash, Ally Bank, and Sunoco. All of its products are designed and manufactured in the U.S., have a 30-day buy-back guarantee, and come with a 72-hour parts-shipping guarantee.

RC Mowers to provide more demoes

RC Mowers will also be at the Wawa 250 Powered by Coca-Cola race on Aug. 25 and the Coke Zero Sugar 400 on Aug. 26 at Daytona International Speedway.

In addition, the robotic mower company will show its systems at the Contender Boats 300 on Oct. 21 and at the NASCAR Cup Series 400 on Oct. 22 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. RC Mowers displayed its collection at these same events in 2022.

"This is a fantastic opportunity to gain national awareness for our brand," added Kubista. "Thousands of people will pass by our products in Daytona and Miami over the course of these events."

In July 2022, the company added Cal-Line Equipment Inc. to its dealer network on the West Coast. In January 2023, RC Mowers announced new hires for its development and production teams as it continues to grow.

RC Mowers Autonomous Mowing Robots solve the top challenges in the landscaping industry, including labor availability and mowing profitability. Our autonomous mowing robots allow landscaping contractors to reduce their mowing labor needs by up to two-thirds – one operator can do the work of three – and generate profit from what is traditionally a break-even or loss-leader service.
