Founded in 2017, Ati Motors has an interdisciplinary team of about 30 engineers across machine learning and AI, power electronics, control systems, mechanical engineering, system software, and electronic hardware. The company has developed the Sherpa family of autonomous mobile robots, including Sherpa Tug, which has a payload of up to 1 ton, and Sherpa Light, which is designed for bin movement in electronics assembly plants or e-commerce order fulfillment.
Ati Motors has built its technologies -- including the electric drive train, vehicle, and autonomy stack -- in house. The company added that its systems are industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Industry 4.0-ready.
