With human-like characteristics, the Hominis robot from Memic Innovative Surgery Ltd. is designed to improve minimally invasive hysterectomies. Tel Aviv, Israel-based Memic last month said it has agreed to merge with special-purpose acquisition company (SPAC) MedTech Acquisition Corp. The deal is supported by $76 million private placement of ordinary shares with investors (PIPE) and will be valued at $1 billion.
