Automate 2026 is expected to welcome over 50,000 attendees and 1,000 exhibitors to McCormick Place in Chicago from June 22-25.

Automate 2026, North America’s largest robotics and automation show, is expected to welcome over 50,000 attendees and 1,000 exhibitors to Chicago’s McCormick Place from June 22-25.

Hosted by the Association for Advancing Automation (A3), Automate will host AI, humanoid, robotic and vision leaders from around the world, looking to “transform the way you work.”

Automate 2026 hours and location

Automate 2026 is located at McCormick Place, located at 2301 S. Martin Luther King Drive in Chicago. The event will take place in the “North” and “South” halls of McCormick Place.

Automate 2026 Engelberger, Educator of the Year and Innovation Awards

A3 will recognize several award recipients at Automate 2026.

Robotics pioneers Hiroshi Fujiwara and Robert Little will receive the 2026 Joseph F. Engelberger Robotics Awards, recognizing their global leadership and real-world applications to advance automation.

Professor Jim Devaprasad of Lake Superior State University will receive the A3 Educator of the Year Award.

And on Tuesday, June 23, at 10:30 a.m. in the Automate Show Theater, A3 will present its 2026 Innovation Awards for the following categories:

  • Components, Hardware & Enabling Technologies

The Humanoid Robot Pavilion and Humanoid Robot Forum at Automate 2026

A3 announced in January 2026 that its third annual Humanoid Robot Forum would be hosted at Automate 2026.

The two-day event, spanning June 23 and 24, brings together robotics leaders, engineers and researchers to examine the real-world development, deployment and commercialization of humanoid technologies.

Additionally, the Humanoid Robot Pavilion, sponsored by NVIDIA, brings together over 20 humanoid robot and humanoid-adjacent organizations from around the world to spotlight this rapidly evolving world.
