Automatica 2025: Servotechnica to showcase slip rings, robotic joint

Global motion control components provider Servotecnica recently announced it will showcase its slip rings and mechanical rotary joints at Automatica 2025 in hall B6 booth 501.

The trade show is being hosted by Messe München GmbH June 24-27 at the Messe München Trade Fair Center in Munich, Germany.

Servotecnica is a global motion control company founded in 1980 with facilities in Italy and Germany. The company said it designs and manufactures compact and robust slip rings for robotics, industrial automation, packaging, medical, and electronics applications. 

Servotecnica slip rings are available in thousands of configuration options as standard. The company also offers a variety of customized products.

Slip ring designed for cutting machines

The company will be showcasing its newly-customized SVTS C Series slip ring, one of its smaller electrical units with pneumatic passage. 

The SVTS C 00908 is engineered specifically for cutting machines. Servotecnica said it can deliver high-performance connectivity in a compact design. Specifications include:

  • 0.16 inch (4 millimeter) pneumatic passage 
  • 1.14 inch (29 millimeter) outer diameter
  • Gold rings and brush
  • 4 power ring 10A
  • 8 Signal 2A
  • Ethernet 1000M option
  • Operating speed over 500 rpm

Servotecnica will also be showcasing its robotic joint, featuring an integrated brushless motor, ABS encoder, backlash-free gearing, and a hollow shaft, engineered for precise and reliable movement.
