Flexiv will showcase its adaptive, force-controlled robotic technologies at CIIF 2025 in Shanghai.
Flexiv, a global provider in general-purpose robotics, will make its largest appearance yet at the China International Industry Fair (CIIF), September 23-27 in Shanghai.
With demand for adaptive robotics growing rapidly across China, Flexiv said it is eager to showcase its latest demonstrations and prove how the "adaptive advantage" can make a real difference to organizations of any size.
Flexiv said visitors to its booth during CIIF can experience 10 demonstrations designed to highlight the flexibility and adaptability of adaptive robots. Of these 10, seven are industrial applications, covering high-precision surface treatment for grinding and polishing, intelligent force-controlled assembly and mobile manipulation in which an adaptive robot is mounted on an AMR platform.
Flexiv will also feature its fully automated massage station at the event, which the company said will allow attendees to feel the difference between traditional and adaptive robotics. Automatically adjusting to any body type, Flexiv’s massage technology provides customized massages that exactly replicate the movement and pressure exerted by professional masseurs.
“CIIF is the premier stage for industrial innovation in China, and we’re proud to bring our largest-ever showcase to the fair,” said Xianyong Chen, vice president of industrial sales at Flexiv. “Our booth members speak English, Chinese, Japanese and German, so wherever visitors are from, they can learn about who we are and what we can do for them. Our free massage demo is a great hands-on way to show how force control ensures safety, sensitivity and consistency. With demand for our adaptive automation solutions growing year after year in China, we expect this year’s expo to be our most successful to date.”
Additional demonstrations will include an egg-carving station where robots deliver millimeter-level artistry, a visual servoing display showcasing real-time vision-based control, and the Flexiv Sim Plugin, which bridges the gap between Elements Studio and third-party simulation software, enabling developers to realistically simulate force-controlled robots.
