Intelligrated, a North American-based automated material handling solutions provider, has announced its show lineup for PACK EXPO 2013, Sept. 23-25 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. With a focus on mixed-load order fulfillment for manufacturing and direct-to-retail distribution, Intelligrated will feature its Alvey robotic palletizing and depalletizing solutions in booth #2036.

The in-booth demonstration will feature an interactive system with robotic arms equipped with custom end-of-arm tooling, software and controls, integrated with Intelligrated pallet conveyor and motor driven roller case conveyor. One robotic arm will palletize multiple case sizes while a second arm will perform vision-guided random case depalletizing. Booth visitors can choose their own case load sequences and see the robots execute the order in real-time. The robots’ flexibility, combined with advanced software and vision technology, enables handling of variable loads and products and brings the speed and accuracy of automation to previously manual processes.

The two order fulfillment enabling technologies showcased in the Intelligrated booth can integrate with the rest of the company’s material handling components including software, conveyor, sortation and order picking systems to streamline operations in manufacturing, warehousing and distribution.

“We offer all the components for complete order fulfillment solutions,” said Matt Wicks, vice president, systems engineering, Intelligrated. “The ability of robotic technology to handle variable product characteristics has enabled manufacturers and distributors to phase out manual processes and fully reap the speed, accuracy and cost-savings benefits of automation.”

Representatives from Intelligrated’s customer service lifecycle support team will also be available to discuss performance enhancements to existing material handling equipment and software.
