Kardex SnapVac eliminates dust and debris from the top of the AutoStore grid.
Kardex, a global provider of automated storage and retrieval offerings, announced the launch of Kardex SnapVac (KSV).
The company said it’s the first semi-automated cleaning robot designed specifically for AutoStore Red Line systems.
Kardex said SnapVac is engineered to eliminate dust and debris buildup from the top of the AutoStore grid without interrupting operations, which helps operators reduce downtime, extend robot lifespan, and ensure clean, safe and high-performing systems.
“With Kardex SnapVac, we’re delivering a smarter, safer and more efficient way to maintain grid hygiene,” said Mitch Hayes, president of Kardex Solutions - North America. “It’s a simple upgrade that delivers big results in uptime, compliance, and peace of mind.”
Kardex said SnapVac is designed for easy integration, and it is compatible with AutoStore R5, R5+ and R5 Pro robots. It features a low-profile bristle tube that the company said captures up to 80% of dust and debris while navigating the grid. Operators can benefit from up to four hours of runtime, with real-time visibility through AutoStore’s ServiceConsole.
