Nomagic
Nomagic added $10 million in funding and launched its Shoebox Picker system.
Poland-based warehouse robotics company Nomagic, which applies general-purpose physical AI to optimize warehouse operations, recently made both funding and a new robot announcement.
The company secured a $10 million Series B extension round led by Cogito Capital Partners, bringing its total funding to over $84 million.
And, Nomagic launched Shoebox Picker, an AI perception and robot control system with an intelligent end-of-arm gripper designed for high-reliability handling of two-piece and unsealed shoeboxes.
Nomagic said that its powerful AI software analyzes the specific characteristics of each shoebox, including size, weight, lid type and orientation, to predict the ideal movements for the pick task and guides the arm gripper in the execution. The company said that this leads to a secure process even for unsealed shoeboxes with separating lids without taping, crushing or losing the lid, allowing the system to pick what is often considered unpickable.
“The Shoebox Picker is a great example of the embodiment of Physical AI,” said Kacper Nowicki, co-founder and CEO of Nomagic. “It combines the intelligence of AI with a physical system to solve real-life physical problems. Automated shoebox handling is an immense challenge in logistics. The Shoebox Picker enables automation for this missing part of fashion logistics. I’m proud to see Nomagic pushing the boundaries of what is possible with Physical AI for intralogistics.”
The company provided the following unique abilities of its Shoebox Picker:
Nomagic said that its deployed robots learn from a massive scale of real operational data, built over millions of tasks in 24/7 environments, that trains its adaptable physical AI platform to handle a variety of warehouse workflows.
With this recent investment, Nomagic said that it will further utilize its commercial traction and technical breakthroughs from 2025, including the acceleration of its commercial operations in the U.S. and adding resources for the continuous development of visual language action (VLA) models in 2026.
“Nomagic is redefining what automation can achieve in warehouse and logistics environments,” said Sylwester Janik, managing partner at Cogito Capital Partners. “Their approach to physical AI - bringing intelligence, adaptability and real‑world autonomy into everyday operations - addresses one of the most urgent transformation needs in the industry. Our investment reflects the strong conviction we have in both the transformative technology and the exceptional leadership driving it. We see Nomagic not just as a category leader, but as a company poised to redefine global standards and shape the future of intelligent automation.”
