Robotics companies in North America are having their second consecutive banner year, with estimates that there are now as many as 230,000 robots in use in Unites States factories alone. Jeff Burnstein, president of the Robotics Industries Association, added that observers believe only 10% of U.S. companies that could benefit from robotics have installed any, including many in the growing materials handling market.
