ResGreen Group International Inc. today announced a strategic partnership with Intellistore USA, an intralogistics and automation provider. Intellistore will join ResGreen’s distribution network, selling, integrating, and installing its storage systems with ResGreen’s software and mobile robots.

Intellistore plans to integrate its automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) with ResGreen’s open-architecture BotWay software, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).

“We are excited to add Intellistore to our expanding list of distributors,” said Parsh Patel, CEO of ResGreen, in a release. “The company’s employees are dedicated to introducing our leading-edge, AI-based solutions to its extensive customer base.”

“The partnership showcases our BotWay software, which integrates seamlessly with Intellistore’s ASRS to increase efficiency while reducing operational costs for customers.”

ResGreen SimuPath applies simulation to optimization

Last month, ResGreen Group International Inc. (RGGI) introduced SimuPath, a simulation program intended to improve manufacturing and warehouse productivity. The program uses Unreal Engine, a game development tool, to build virtual 3D representations of facilities that accurately reflect their physical dimensions and structures.

SimuPath incorporates artificial intelligence to help determine the best routes for optimum material handling efficiency, said ResGreen. It then relays the information to the company’s BigBuddy, PullBuddy, and LilBuddy robots, as well as other agents such as drones and human workers.

ResGreen detailed two different simulation modes for SimuPath:

  • Fixed structure: A static, digital replica of a warehouse or plant, with elements such as racks, storage containers, and machinery firmly set in place. The program analyzes numerous factors, including shortest paths, product weight, and frequency of access, to determine the optimal routes.
  • Full simulation: A more dynamic and interactive mode enabling materials to be moved around a facility according to specified rules. This model encourages a fluid and adaptive approach to manufacturing and warehouse management.

Intellistore offers smart automation

Roger Olle, vice president of sales at Intellistore, said the partnership “helps bring intelligent, automated solutions to companies of all sizes in a wide variety of industries, from distribution to warehousing and manufacturing.”

Troy, Mich.-based Intellistore was founded just last year. The company works with businesses of all sizes to promote logistics and automation using robotics and software.

Intellistore said it provides lead-edge mini-load, unit-load, linear robot, and circular robot ASRS, as well as other smart technologies.
