With sites in Los Angeles and Singapore, Piestro says its vending machine robots can whip up an artisanal pizza within 3 minutes.

The Santa Monica, Calif.-based company was founded in 2003 and is backed venture capital firm Wavemaker. The company is still in the prototype phase, and the machine is not yet on the market.
