Like Uber and Lyft in the U.S., Chinese ride-hailing provider DiDi Chuxing Technology Co. is working on vehicles that don’t require human drivers. DiDi Autonomous Driving’s $300 million will enable the $1.1 billion unit, which has already been testing robotic taxicab services, to expand its testing and partnerships with automakers.
