In 2019, Honeywell created a new division specifically catered to robotics. Pittsburgh-based Honeywell Robotics offers products for warehouse and distribution center automation. It was created to expand the company’s already large automation segment. It is a certified systems integrator.
In September 2021, Honeywell introduced its Smart Flexible Depalletizer to break down pallet loads. The company said the goal is to reduce the amount of time humans need to spend breaking down pallets. In 2021, Honeywell reported $34.3 billion in revenue.
