The new version of the 3D printing Software 4D_Additive uses artificial intelligence algorithms to achieve an optimal heat distribution. This new technology is used to ensure an even arrangement of parts in the build space during nesting. The new nesting function of the renowned 4D_Additive software from CoreTechnologie uses artificial intelligence (AI) for the first time to automate intelligent behavior and machine learning. The new technology simulates certain human decision-making structures based on the programming and by this means the computer independently processes complex tasks in the area of so called nesting. Optimized component nesting With its new “pack and…

DENSO Corp., a global mobility supplier that develops advanced technology and components for many vehicle makes and models, has selected the Aras platform to build an engineering bill of materials (BOM) platform to better digitally manage data. DENSO has been operating on an engineering BOM system that it previously built to fit its business processes by combining multiple open systems, including host systems and web clients. As these systems aged, DENSO began evaluating multiple systems to find a successor. The company decided to take the engineering platform it has been using for years and migrate to the Aras platform. DENSO…
AMFG, provider of manufacturing execution system (MES) software for additive manufacturing, is collaborating with HP to enable data streaming and connectivity for HP Jet Fusion systems through AMFG’s MES software. The collaboration aims to solve a barrier to unlocking the full potential of additive manufacturing: The lack of connectivity across the AM workflow. AMFG and HP have taken steps to address this challenge by enabling the integration of HP 3D Application Programming Interface (API) with AMFG’s MES software. HP Jet Fusion users will be able to connect directly with their systems through AMFG’s software, track production status and receive critical…
