Copley Controls will highlight its Nano and Nano Plus line of module drives at Automate 2026 in Chicago.
Global motion control components provider Copley Controls will showcase its compact Nano and Nano Plus module drives at Automate 2026 in Chicago.
Additionally, the company said that it will highlight a new capability to build integrated motor-drive assemblies to customer requirements at the event.
Copley Controls said that the Nano and Nano Plus module drives are among the most compact high-performance servo drives on the market, and they are sized for space-constrained applications such as robotic joints.
The company said that they run efficiently to limit the heat generated in tight enclosures where there is little room to dissipate it, and they support a range of brushless, DC brush and linear motors over industrial networks including EtherCAT, CANopen and EtherNet/IP.
Copley said that its new integrated motor-drive capability lets customers combine a motor and drive in a single assembly built to their specifications. At Automate, the company will display a custom unit that replaces an earlier design built around a large, separate drive housing. The company said that the new version integrates the drive and a built-in encoder inside the motor package, cutting interconnects, cabling and connectors while shrinking the overall form factor and managing thermal load internally.
