AutoStore, a global warehouse technology company offering modular storage, today announced plans to relocate its United States headquarters to a newly developed and greatly expanded facility in Salem, New Hampshire. The relocation, planned for April, will bring over 100 jobs to the greater Boston region and will support the company’s continued growth and investment in the North American automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) market, the company said.

At over 40,000 square feet, the new facility will better serve and support end customers with a growing service team, revamped training programs, and comprehensive onsite technology demonstrations. The new headquarters will house the company’s newest initiative the AutoStore Academy, which will offer hands-on and virtual training for integration partners to design, install, maintain, and service the AutoStore System. Additionally, the facility will include an Experience Center with an on-site storage and retrieval system, complete with active robots and workstations on a large-scale grid, for live demonstrations and training purposes.

“With accelerated and continued growth across North America, our new U.S. headquarters will enable us to continue expanding the cube-based ASRS market for better warehousing in the U.S.,” said Paul Roy, Vice President and Managing Director of North America at AutoStore. “We’re particularly excited about several hands-on initiatives and regular onsite demonstrations, which will enable us to provide our customers with unique opportunities to see AutoStore’s technology in action.”

With over 232 systems, 14 million bins, and 17,000 robots deployed in the U.S. alone, the new headquarters will help support the company’s ongoing expansion across North America, the company added.
