Cardinal Kinetic
InoDrive is the core hardware component of Cardinal Kinetic's InoWorx Motion Control Platform.
Cardinal Kinetic, a Kentucky-based “Insight Automation” company focusing on motion control, material handling and general automation, released more information on the company’s InoDrive motion control card.
Cardinal Kinetic describes the InoDrive as an integrated motion control card that delivers highly reliable, accurate and precise control of brushless DC servo motors in a wide range of industrial environments.
As the core hardware component of the company's InoWorx Motion Control Platform, Cardinal Kinetic said InoDrive simplifies servo system design while offering robust performance, flexibility and ease of deployment.
Cardinal Kinetic said InoDrive combines the full capabilities of a servo amplifier, motion controller and logic engine into a single compact unit. When paired with the InoWorx Programmer - the company's drag-and-drop, code-free interface - the company said the result is a motion control platform that delivers reliable, accurate and precise motion with minimal setup time.
“The InoWorx platform, with InoDrive at its core, gives engineers and non-engineers alike everything they need to achieve high-performance results,” said Will Morgan, director of product management at Cardinal Kinetic. “It removes the complexity that traditionally slows down deployment and makes precision motion more accessible than ever.”
Cardinal Kinetic highlighted the following features and potential benefits of InoDrive:
Cardinal Kinetic said InoDrive is well-suited for OEMs and system integrators working in automation, robotics, packaging, mobile equipment and R&D environments, particularly where space is limited, setup time is critical and precision motion is crucial.
The company will be exhibiting at SPS Smart Production Solutions Atlanta, September 16-18 at the Georgia World Congress Center.
