Hy-Tek Intralogistics and Locus Robotics
Hy-Tek Intralogistics and Locus Robotics partnered to incorporate the Locus Origin and Vector AMRs into Hy-Tek's automation portfolio.
Supply chain integration partner and warehouse distribution technology provider Hy-Tek Intralogistics announced a strategic partnership with Locus Robotics, a global provider of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for warehouse fulfillment.
The collaboration brings the Locus Origin and Locus Vector robots into the Hy-Tek automation portfolio, offered through a Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS) model to deliver rapid scalability, flexibility and measurable ROI.
Hy-Tek said the partnership expands the company’s ability to help 3PL, eCommerce, retail and healthcare customers meet surging fulfillment demands while addressing labor challenges and operational efficiency.
By combining Locus Robotics’ AMR technologies with Hy-Tek’s systems integration experience and IntraOne warehouse orchestration platform, the companies said that customers will gain a unified, high-performance automation strategy that adapts to changing business needs.
“At Hy-Tek, we build our solutions around what creates the greatest long-term value for our customers,” said Sandy Stephens, chief strategy officer at Hy-Tek Intralogistics. “Adding Locus Robotics to our automation portfolio ensures we can deliver scalable, flexible robotics solutions that integrate seamlessly with broader warehouse orchestration strategies. Together, we’re equipping customers to grow with confidence while driving faster ROI.”
Locus Origin is designed for high-volume, collaborative order fulfillment. The company said that Origin helps improve productivity 2-3X by eliminating unproductive walking time, while ensuring near-100% order accuracy. Locus Vector, which is engineered for high-productivity material handling, offers a 600 lb. payload capacity, omnidirectional mobility and versatile configurations for transport, case picking and sortation.
Both robots operate on the LocusONE platform, enabling fleets of hundreds of robots to be deployed quickly - often in as little as 6–8 weeks - with the flexibility to scale up or down as demand shifts.
“Hy-Tek Intralogistics is an ideal partner for Locus Robotics,” said Steve Simmerman, vice president - global alliances at Locus Robotics. “Their expertise in designing and integrating end-to-end automation strategies aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver smarter, more flexible warehouse fulfillment solutions. By combining Hy-Tek’s orchestration approach with our Origin and Vector robots, customers can transform their operations quickly, cost-effectively, and with lasting impact.”
