FARO CREAFORM
At IMTS 2026 in Chicago, FARO CREAFORM is showcasing its portfolio of scanning technologies, including the Quantum X FaroArm Series.
FARO CREAFORM, a business of AMETEK, Inc. and a global provider of 3D scanning and portable CMM offerings, will showcase its latest portable metrology technologies at IMTS 2026, September 14-19 in Chicago.
The company said that booth visitors can explore its technologies that are designed to enhance inspection efficiency, support quality workflows and enable data-driven decision-making across the production floor.
FARO CREAFORM said that its primary display at IMTS is the Quantum X FaroArm Series, a configurable and scalable probing and scanning portable measurement arm device portfolio.
Available in five lengths and three accuracy levels, the company said that the Quantum X FaroArm Series can be paired with the FAROBlu Laser Line Probe, powered by DTEX, to help manufacturers reduce time to data by up to 60% while improving scanning performance on dark, shiny, and high-contrast surfaces. Together with the FARO 8-Axis Max rotary worktable, the company said that the offering delivers faster, highly repeatable inspection workflows without compromising accuracy.
The company said that the Quantum X FaroArm Series is designed for applications ranging from small parts to large assemblies, and supports inspection, CAD comparison and reverse engineering workflows. By helping manufacturers identify deviations sooner and reduce rework, waste, scrap and equipment downtime, FARO CREAFORM said that portable coordinate measuring machines can help increase throughput and deliver a rapid return on investment.
Also at IMTS, FARO CREAFORM said that it will showcase its next-generation HandySCAN 3D portfolio, including the EVO, EVO Plus and MAX EVO models. The company said that the portfolio combines wireless metrology-grade accuracy, integrated visualization and streamlined inspection workflows to help quality teams inspect parts faster, measure with confidence, and adapt to applications ranging from small precision components to large assemblies. When paired with the Mobility Kit, the company said that users can take inspection directly to the point of need, whether in the lab or on the production floor.
Additional offerings at the FARO CREAFORM booth during IMTS include:
Together, the company said that these technologies help manufacturers address a wide range of dimensional inspection requirements, from high-accuracy part verification and large-scale measurement to flexible shop-floor quality control.
