Luncheon encourages students to continue learning, building and creating.

Transbotics Corporation hosted its inaugural educational luncheon on September 28th with students from a FIRST Robotics Competition Team and a First Lego League Team. FIRST is a 501c3 nonprofit organization created to inspire youth to pursue further studies and careers in science and technology and to help students acquire the knowledge and skills needed to compete in the technologically driven global economy.

The event started with an introduction by Transbotics Board Member and former basketball sportscaster Billy Packer. The event proceeded to the description of Laser Guided Vehicles and Automated Guided Carts. The educational portion consisted of informing the children about all aspects in designing and implementing the products in various industries and environments. The teams also witnessed live demonstrations of the various vehicles. An enthusiastic Mr. Packer said, “It was very fruitful to watch these young kids entertained and curious about the future. Their intense attitude, regardless of age, was a sight to see. The future is in great shape with kids like these looking forward!”

The event closed with Mr. Packer encouraging the kids to continue learning, building and creating as they broke for lunch.
