Swisslog's MODEX 2026 tagline is asking customers if they are "Ready For the Next?"
At MODEX 2026, warehouse automation and software provider Swisslog said that it will showcase how its forward-thinking automation strategies help businesses stay ready for what’s next.
At Swisslog’s booth, B14732, MODEX attendees can discuss how automation is not a one-time investment, but a continuous journey that evolves alongside operational needs and market demands.
To underscore Swisslog’s theme for MODEX 2026, “Ready For the Next,” the company said it is unveiling AgileStore, a new 4-way roaming pallet shuttle for high-density pallet storage.
“Being ready for the next means looking beyond the automation you need today,” said Mike Barker, president and CEO of Swisslog Americas. “It’s about building a competitive advantage that allows your supply chain to perform reliably now while remaining flexible enough to adapt to whatever comes next. When companies partner with Swisslog, they gain a solution designed for today’s challenges and tomorrow’s opportunities.”
Swisslog said that AgileStore is an advanced ASRS that offers a powerful and modular solution for warehouses seeking to maximize space utilization and adapt quickly to changing demand. The company said that the debut of AgileStore highlights Swisslog’s partnership with Eurofork.
AgileStore supports forward, backward, lateral and vertical travel, which Swisslog said delivers unmatched flexibility in dynamic warehouse environments. Unlike traditional bi-directional shuttles, the company said that the roaming pallet shuttle seamlessly transitions across aisles and levels via integrated lift systems. This multi-directional capability enables:
Swisslog added that it will also showcase a live demonstration of SynQ. The platform is Swisslog’s intelligent core of automated intralogistics that enables real-time orchestration of warehouse operations. The company said that SynQ allows customers to respond dynamically to changing order volumes, labor constraints and inventory fluctuations.
Swisslog added that SynQ empowers businesses to optimize order fulfillment with confidence, while reducing complexity through its broad range of functionality, incorporating features from WMS, WES and WCS in the platform.
