PACK Expo 2025: Wexxar Bel to debut next-generation automation suite

Processing and packaging machinery provider Wexxar Bel, a ProMach brand, will unveil a new suite of case forming and sealing equipment at PACK Expo 2025 in Las Vegas. 

The suite includes the BEL300 Random Case Sealer, BEL615 Fully Automatic Case Erector and BEL625 Robotic Case Erector. Wexxar Bel said each offering was developed to address specific production challenges across a range of industries and operational scales.

PACK Expo is September 29-October 1 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

New automation suite overview

Wexxar Bel said it has long prioritized reducing operator interaction with machinery, recognizing that today’s workforce often has different skill sets than in previous decades. This focus has driven the company’s investment in intuitive HMIs, auto-adjust capabilities and simplified changeover - features that reduce the need for specialized training and allow machines to be operated efficiently by a broader range of personnel.

“Our goal is to make packaging automation more accessible and effective, regardless of the size or complexity of operations,” Marius Stirban, director of product management and aftermarket at Wexxar Bel. “From small batch manufacturers to high-volume fulfillment centers, we’ve designed each machine to meet distinct needs with precision, efficiency and reliability.”

In addition to labor-related challenges, Wexxar Bel said it has also responded to changes in packaging materials.

The rise of mixed-medium corrugate, microflute and plastic-based substrates has created new demands for equipment that can adapt without compromising speed and performance.

Specifically, the company said the BEL300 is engineered to handle these evolving materials with precision, ensuring consistent box quality even as packaging formats shift toward shelf-ready and visually branded designs.

Wexxar Bel provided the following details for the three new pieces of equipment that will be on display at PACK Expo.

• BEL300 Random Case Sealer - Developed for high-mix packaging lines, the BEL300 automatically adjusts to incoming case dimensions without interruption, eliminating the need for manual intervention, significantly increasing efficiency and reducing labor costs. With a throughput of up to 25 cases per minute, the company said this compact system is ideal for e-commerce, fulfillment and other applications where multiple case sizes are processed in sequence.

• BEL625 Robotic Case Erector - Equipped with robotic arm technology and adaptive control systems for consistent output and 99% machine efficiency, the BEL625 is intended for facilities requiring frequent changeovers and handling varied case styles and materials. Capable of up to 30 cases per minute and built with a fully auto-adjust feature, the company said it is particularly effective in distribution centers, co-packing environments and operations with high labor costs and workforce turnover.
• BEL615 Case Erector - Designed for manufacturers transitioning from manual case forming, the BEL615 offers dependable performance, delivering a steady, on-demand supply of up to 15 well-formed square cases per minute. Wexxar Bel said its ergonomic magazine and tool-free adjustments make it user-friendly and well-suited for smaller operations seeking to simplify maintenance, improve consistency, reduce labor dependency and minimize downtime.
