ProMat 2025: Bossard to demonstrate smart manufacturing technologies

Bossard

ProMat attendees will be able to assemble equipment using Bossard’s Smart Factory Assembly and Logistics integrated tools and software for manufacturing automation.

Industrial components and automation systems supplier Bossard recently announced it will showcase its smart factory technologies at ProMat 2025 in booth S161.

The trade show will be held March 17-20 at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, Ill.

Bossard will showcase its technologies for assembly and logistics, which are designed to help optimize efficiency, reduce errors, and maximize ROI in today’s fast-evolving manufacturing industry.

Industry 4.0 includes connected production systems

Manufacturing is evolving, and the advancements of Industry 4.0 are transforming the way businesses operate. From digitalization to automation, the future of smart manufacturing is here, and Bossard invites ProMat 2025 attendees to experience it firsthand.

The shift to Industry 4.0 is now providing manufacturers with advanced connectivity, data analytics, and automation. Bossard’s Smart Factory systems can help manufacturers bridge the gap between traditional operations and more streamlined, intelligent production systems.

“Every OEM would benefit from Bossard Smart Factory systems by realizing productivity cost savings and improved manufacturing efficiencies with real-time information at their fingertips.” said Steve Prostinak, Bossard outside sales representative.

Smart Factory systems for assembly, supply chain management

By incorporating internet of things (IoT) enabled devices and user interfaces, Bossard’s Smart Factory Assembly technology can help reduce manual processes in assembly lines. The company’s Assembly Digitalization can provide operators with real-time guidance, connected smart tools automatically adjust for precision, and every step is monitored for consistency and quality.

Bossard said this system not only reduces training time, but it also helps reduce errors in production, laying a foundation for highly efficient, future-ready facilities.

Manufacturers are also improving supply chain transparency and inventory efficiency using Bossard's interactive supply chain platform, which increases control over material flow. It is an element of Bossard’s Smart Factory systems, enabling businesses to manage inventory and monitor stock in real time, automate orders, and ensure critical components are always on hand.

Bossard said this integration can reduce downtime and operational costs, and improve efficiency for B- and C-tier parts management.

“Manually keeping track of C-class components is a thing of the past,” said Gavin Meneses, Bossard Smart Factory Logistics manager. “Our clients are able to save time for what really matters in their core activities. In just one click, you can have a clear view of stock levels, and track actual consumption.”

Bossard at ProMat 2025

ProMat Attendees at the Bossard booth will be able to experience hands-on demonstrations of the Smart Factory Assembly and Smart Factory Logistics systems, gaining deeper insights into how these systems can deliver tangible improvements across supply chain management, assembly operations, and data-driven decision-making.

Attendees will be able to assemble equipment using the company’s integrated tools and software, to experience first-hand the efficiency and precision its technology can bring to the manufacturing floor.

Visitors are invited to take advantage of exclusive one-on-one sessions with Bossard representatives during the tradeshow. The company said these personalized demonstrations are a chance to engage directly with its team, ask questions, and explore how its Smart Factory systems can be tailored to meet needs specific to each end user.
