Kardex will showcase its new Wearable Task Assistant, equipped with a hands‐free scanner, pick and place support, and a color‐coded wrist display, at ProMat 2025.
Intralogistics systems provider Kardex recently announced it will present its latest developments designed to enhance intralogistics efficiency at ProMat 2025 in booth S3562.
The trade show will be held March 17-20 at the McCormick Place convention center in Chicago, Ill.
Demonstrations will feature integrated software systems and picking assistance tools working seamlessly with Kardex’s automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) technologies, which can help improve inventory management, order picking accuracy, performance, and ergonomics.
Kardex will showcase its new Wearable Task Assistant - a portable wearable device that can improve picking efficiency and ergonomics. Equipped with a hands‐free scanner, pick and place support, and a color‐coded wrist display, the Wearable Task Assistant can reduce errors and help improve the overall quality of the picking process.
Visitors will also be able to experience a live demonstration of Kardex’s Intuitive Picking Assistant, which projects relevant picking information directly onto the surface of the AutoStore access port. This interactive and user‐friendly picking display responds to hand movements and can facilitate ergonomic, high speed, reduced-error picking.
Kardex will be showcasing an update to Intuitive Picking Assistant at ProMat. It will now feature Optical State Capture, which can capture and analyze data to deliver performance tracking and process optimization.
One demonstration will include the Kardex Shuttle - a vertical lift module designed to optimize space, improve efficiency, and increase flexibility in warehouse operations. It will be working together with Kardex Power Pick Cloud - a new software system offering increased data security with simplified implementation, agile process adaptation, fast onboarding, and an overall improved user experience. Kardex representatives will demonstrate how the Kardex Shuttle can integrate into existing operations, with the potential to reduce storage space by up to 85% and accelerate order fulfillment picking times.
Additionally, Kardex empowered by AutoStore will feature a full‐size AutoStore grid connected to Kardex FulfillX, a warehouse execution system (WES) designed to remove the unpredictability from system go‐live. Kardex said FulfillX has the potential to allow new AutoStore systems to ramp‐up faster and achieve or exceed business objectives in as little as 6 months.
Kardex will be showcasing new capabilities for FulfillX WES at ProMat. It will now include Power BI integration for custom reporting, on-demand order picking for urgent requests, and enhanced inventory tracking capabilities.
The StoreX calculator, a tool for simulating AutoStore system empowered by Kardex before installation, was launched to the retail industry at the National Retail Federation (NRF) 2025 trade show held Jan. 12-14 in New York City. At ProMat, it will launch to the wider supply chain industry.
Attendees will also be able to learn how to keep their existing machines up and running using Kardex Connect. Kardex Connect provides a secure industrial internet of things (IoT) platform offering smart connected services like analytics, remote support, remote monitoring, and video conferencing.
Representatives from Kardex will speak at two seminars during the show:
