Kodiak Robotics shows off 'fallback' system

On Thursday, Mountain View, Calif.-based Kodiak Robotics showed of the “fallback” system used on its autonomus trucks. The company said the fallback system allows for the truck to autonomously pull over on the side of the road in the event of an emergency. The company claims to be the first company to publicly demonstrate this type of technology.
