Georgia Institute of Technology, or Georgia Tech for short, has established itself as a major player in the field of robotics through its Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Machines.

The college offers both masters and PhD programs in robotics, as well as a bachelor’s of science in mechanical engineering - automation and robotic systems.

The institute centers its research on the “foundation of robotics, field & service robotics, human-centered robotics, manipulation & locomotion, safe, secure, & resilient autonomy, [and], sensing and perception.”
