A Look at 5 U.S. Universities That Have a Strong Focus on Robotics

​The University of Michigan’s robotic department was designed for both undergraduates and graduate students.

Its undergraduate program is actually quite new, since the university was given approval from the state to create it in June 2022. The robotics major officially launched this past fall.

Its masters and PhD programs are more established and focus on three main areas of robotics, according to the university: sensing, reasoning, and acting.
